Who should attend

The course is ideal for people in marketing roles that are interested in increasing their knowledge in digital marketing strategy. This includes people who have not had much exposure to digital marketing or have been out of the marketing field for a period of time. This also includes digital marketers who are starting out in their career or have been specializing on a specific area of digital. Past participants include a broad mix of marketers from a variety of client-side, agency, start-up, and non-profit organizations.

What is the format

The course blends online live instruction with peer learning and individual feedback. Curriculum and activities are designed to help participants apply lessons to real-world marketing initiatives in an arts-specific context.

  • Live Sessions: There will be 8 online live instructor-led sessions, 60-90 minutes in length

  • Practical Application: After every session, participants will be given an activity that they need to complete for a real-world arts organization based on the training

  • Peer Learning: Throughout the course, participants will be learning from each other by providing assignment feedback and sharing through a closed community channel / forum

  • Office Hours: Every week, there will be a 1-hour window for students to book time with the instructor to further discuss questions, and for individual feedback

  • Course Website: All course material will be uploaded to a password-protected website, including video recordings of all live lessons

  • Participant Surveys: Kickframe will conduct participant surveys to measure the impact of the program and level of participant satisfaction

What is covered

Who is the Instructor

The course is designed and delivered by Kickframe founder Tim Dolan, MBA. Tim is a Certified Training Practitioner (CTP), Certified Facilitator (IAF), and Certified Agile Marketer (ICP-MKG) with over 20 years of international digital marketing strategy experience. He is a past instructor of the Digital Marketing Certificate Program for the CMA and has delivered consulting and training for arts organizations including the Royal Conservatory of Music, Orchestras Canada, and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.

Tim has provided training to over 1,000 marketers, and most recently designed and delivered the course ‘Fundamentals of Digital Marketing and Fundraising’ with project partners Orchestras Canada, PACT, OAC, and CDA. 100% of course participants were satisfied with the course.
